HIGRIP® featured Buildex® TYPE 17 self-drilling screws are a revolutionary design in roof fasteners that overcomes the traditional problems with crest fixing metal roofing profiles to steel or timber. It restricts over-drilling which leads to ponding or dimpling, prevents the roofing sheet moving down the screw shank when the roof is walked on and grips the sheet to provide a “positive” joint with the washer face. Crest fixing of Corrugated Roofing profiles (e.g Custom Orb®) to hardwood. THESE RECOMMENDATIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE CONSIDERED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ROOF SHEET MANUFACTURERS FIXING SPECIFICATIONS.
