Buildex® Type 17 Construction Screws are self-drilling screws for fixing timber and thin metal. The special end slot forms a thread cutting action into the timber which eliminates timber expansion and minimises the splitting of timber. The aggressive serrated thread and clearing thread provides quick installation and the large washer head offers exceptional pull down. Climacoat® 3 coating resists the corrosive effects of treated timbers, particularly ACQ. Fixing heavy timbers together where additional strength and pull down performance is required: Timber Frames, Gates, Pergolas, Outdoor Furniture and Fencing. This product comes as a pack of 250.
